so taking some one down straight to back mount means nothing? what about controlling him on the ground and attempting submissions?

Diaz should win that 4-1 or 3-2 end of story.

yah, taking Carlos Down into back mount scored points. Diaz didn't attempt any submissions, he was setting up a couple, but had no real "attempts". For the first 3:50 of the round he got out struck by a wide margin. So, depending on your view, which counts for more? Some say the 3:50 of being outstruck, others say the one take down and position control.... it can really go either way.

I had it exactly like Dan Henderson did: even to 4th and 5th to Diaz. I have no hate for Condit, though, as I think he fought REALLY intelligently and out-boxed Nick in a couple rounds.

He was outlanded by over 50 significant strikes.

Seriously Ray, why do you even bother?

yeah he took his back but Carlos was getting the best of the round until Diaz took him down, but my point is, Diaz 3-2 or 4-1..

It was a tough fight to call. Diaz was the aggressor but condit landed a lot more strikes. I think the judges got this one right.

If the total amounts of strikes landed was the only way to know who won the fight, we wouldn't have judges.

I agree with Buchholz, Lindland, Hendo and Miletich. 3-2 Diaz is how I scored it.

people are just nutthuggin condits balls too tight that they don't realize condit LOST that fight. my brother who's the biggest Condit nutthugger even admits condit only won 2 rounds at most. don't get me wrong I'm a fan of condits too, but he wasn't the "natrual born killer" last night. whatever, hope he puts on a better fight against GSP.

Im in no way, shape or form a "Diaz nuthugger" as these idiots stupidly claim. "You thought diaz won! You're a blind nuthugger brah!!11"

I consider myself more a Condit fan and I was actually predicting Condit would KO him. After watching that fight, and then the bullshit result. I dunno man, all I can think of is "robbery". I would of been happier if it would of been a draw than Condit winning. Diaz clearly won the first 3 rounds and the final round.

the stats say that diaz won the fight in round 1 he lands over double the head strikes and 4 more body strikes while only landing 2 less total strikes and the majority of condits strikes were leg kicks giving the fact that head strikes score more diaz wins this round and the fact that he gets points for being the agressor in round 2 diaz lands more strikes in every area except for leg kicks and round 5 he won by getting his back and holding it for 2 minutes
