I think Weidman has more drive. Not sure about it thou, we'll see how I fare in the CRI.

i honestly dont know much about weidman. but i always find it hard to go against maia. provided he shows up ready to roll and not trade in a stand up.

i dont know much about weidman except that he trains with serra. i mightve seen one of his fights but i dont remember

with that said, i have to go with maia because he is developing into a well rounded fighter and he is one of my favorite fighters


also how can anyone not like maia?? the dude is a respectful, very skilled martial artist that couldve easily bitched and complained about the change of opponents from a very well known bisping to a not as well known weidman. maia had a lot more to gain by beating bisping than beating weidman

I hate his stand up. How can he feel confortable by saaying he is a complete fighter? I'd be ashamed.

they should both be cut for this display or at least relagated to prelim fights. maia seems to be trying to learn how to strike effectively while he is actually fighting! his boxing is as bad as his jiu jitsu is good. He really needs to go back to what he does best. not every fighter can be the ultimate all rounder. I appreciate that he is trying to become more complete but he is losing fights,fans and dollars.
