In my heart for Werdum, but in reality fucking Nelson has a monster chin, really good JJ, i think not as good as Werdum, but really good, and maybe little better standup. There's more chance for Nelson to get ko victory. I hope he won't! This is going to be great fight and I hope it's going to the ground.

If Nelson decides not to go on the ground Werdum will not be able to take him down, his takedown is weak. In stand up Werdum has a solid reach adventage and will probably do better on the distance but no way he'll survive 3 rounds without beeing KOed. Too weak chin vs too much power= Nelson KO rd2.

I'm yet to figure Roy Nelson out. A guy who's probably 40-50 pounds overweight, and who manages to be competitive as a heavyweight. My guess would have to be that heavyweights are usually not very technical, so their weight advantage vs a highly technical fighter isn't that big. Basically, what I'm saying is that maybe Roy Nelson would be less successful as a light heavyweight, because the fighters there are overall more technical. After all, Rashad Evans beat much bigger, but less technical fighters when he entered TUF as a heavyweight.

But Fabricio Werdum is well rounded, and he's fit and heavy, so unless he gets unlucky or somehow Nelson is a much superior fighter, I just don't see how he could lose.

This isnt a great match for Werdum, coz if he loses, no one respects his skills that much. If he wins then people don respect the win that match. Its fucked, i want him to win, but i could see it being very close and even Roy taking it. This is just a styles make fights, should of pitched him up against anyone else..

I want Werdum to win but I think Nelson could stop those subs with his blubber. Nelson via top control UD.

Werdum won't be able to take Nelson down, we're going to see a bitch of a replay of his pathetic 'Reem fight. He will then be KTFO by El Lardo the Fatso, as soon as he gets frustrated enough for not taking the fight where he wants it and being forced to box with the round guy.
